About: I painted a series inspired by Ollie, an extraordinary cat who stands out among all the cats I’ve encountered. Ollie’s unique charm is best captured in the way he follows his family on walks—not on a leash like the dogs, but freely following alongside, delighting and amazing the neighbors. Despite our limited time together, his loving and cuddly nature left a profound impact, offering me a sense of comfort and connection during a time when I needed it most. To reflect the joy and light he brought into my life, I chose cheerful, vibrant colors that echo his playful and uplifting spirit. Each piece in this series is a celebration of Ollie’s remarkable ability to inspire happiness and connection with his unique and heartwarming presence.
